Initial imagery of a new residence on a pond in Alta, WY. The site is a flat parcel of historically agricultural land on the west side of the Teton range. The house sits on the edge of a new pond and reaches out to it along it's central entrance axis. The architecture takes the form of a long wood bar with subtractive exterior rooms and additive stone volumes. The series of outdoor spaces are informed by the architecture and are spread around the home's perimeter to engage the landscape with varying degrees of intimacy and perspective.
