To Jackson Hole, With Love

August 12, 2026 | LN | Public Art

To Jackson Hole, With Love is a public art event curated by Bronwyn Minton and organized by Jackson Hole Public Art. We were asked to create a site-specific mailbox for the summer-long event, during which locals and tourists alike fill out blank postcards with love letters to Jackson Hole. Artist-created mailboxes are located around the valley. The event will culminate with an evening of art and performances in October.

For our mailbox, we used remnant glulam beam from a recent construction project to create a bench that focused on the process of writing a card. The bench has armatures that support a box for blank cards and writing implements, a table to write on and a slotted box for mailing the cards. The bench is painted with a linseed oil based paint. It can be found at the Center of the Arts through October 2026– stop by and write a postcard!
